We want you to love your order. If something isn’t right, we’ll help. This policy explains when and how you can return items purchased from Lanyards Online (“we”, “us”, “our”).
Change-of-mind (consumer orders, stock items only): return within 14 days of delivery to tell us you’re cancelling; send the items back within 14 more days in unused, resaleable condition for a refund of the item price.
Personalised / made-to-order items: not returnable for change-of-mind, but fully covered if faulty, damaged, or not as described.
Faulty / damaged / incorrect items: tell us within 30 days of delivery; we’ll replace or refund (your choice) and cover return postage where required.
Notes on UK law: Consumers have cancellation rights for distance sales of non-custom goods (Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013). Your statutory rights for faulty goods apply (Consumer Rights Act 2015).
Returnable for change-of-mind (consumers):
Stock, non-custom items (e.g., plain lanyards, clips, holders) in new, unused condition, with all packaging.
Not returnable for change-of-mind:
Personalised, printed, or made-to-order items (e.g., custom-branded lanyards, bespoke colours, special fittings).
Items that are opened/used, missing parts, or not in resaleable condition (unless faulty).
Business customers may return stock items at our discretion.

We’ll send return instructions and (if applicable) a prepaid label for faulty/incorrect items.

We recommend a tracked service. You’re responsible for the item until it reaches us.
Change-of-mind (consumers, stock items): notify cancellation within 14 days of delivery; return within 14 days after notifying.
Faulty/incorrect items: please notify us within 30 days of delivery. If a manufacturing defect appears after 30 days but within a reasonable time, contact us and we’ll assess.
Returned stock items must be unused, unprinted, and in original packaging with all accessories. We may make a reasonable deduction for any handling that goes beyond what’s necessary to check the item’s nature, characteristics and functioning.
Refunds go to your original payment method within 5–10 business days of us receiving and inspecting the return.
For change-of-mind returns, we refund the item price and the standard delivery cost you paid (if any). Upgraded/express shipping isn’t refundable.
If only part of the order is returned, delivery charges are refunded proportionately where required.
Need a different colour or quantity of a stock item? The fastest way is to return for a refund and place a new order. For faulty personalised items, we’ll re-make or replace promptly.
If we’ve made a mistake or something arrives damaged:
Email us photos and your order number within 30 days.
We’ll arrange a replacement, repair, or refund and cover return postage where a return is needed.
Change-of-mind (consumers): you cover return postage.
Faulty/incorrect items: we cover reasonable return costs or provide a prepaid label.
If a parcel is returned to us due to an incorrect address, non-collection, or refused delivery, we’ll refund the item price (minus any carrier return fees) for stock items. Personalised items are non-refundable unless faulty.
